The UNIHUBS Multiplier Workshop held at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology brought educators and innovators together to have an honest, hands-on conversation about how artificial intelligence is changing the way we teach and learn in higher education.

Rather than focusing on theory alone, the session explored practical approaches such as AI “vibe coding”, design thinking, and gamified learning. Participants tried out new tools, shared experiences, and worked through simple ideas that showed how AI can support creativity and problem-solving in the classroom, even without deep technical skills.

A key takeaway from the workshop was the shift in mindset it encouraged. Many participants left seeing AI less as something to fear, and more as a creative partner that can help educators design more engaging, inclusive, and relevant learning experiences.

As a multiplier workshop under the UNIHUBS project, the goal was to ensure these ideas travel further. Hapa Space took part as a consortium partner, supporting the sharing of practical approaches that educators can adapt and scale within their own institutions.
