HapaSpace, in partnership with UNDP, is inviting experienced consulting firms to submit proposals for the recruitment and deployment of technical mentors for the Youth Innovation Circles (YIC) 2025 programme.

About the Youth Innovation Circles (YIC)

The Youth Innovation Circles is a transformative initiative focused on empowering atypical innovators—especially women and persons with disabilities—in rural and peri-urban Ghana. For the 2025 edition, YIC is shifting from general mentoring to technical mentoring, matching innovators with mentors who possess sector-specific technical expertise.

Scope of Work

The selected firm will:

  • Deploy 10 personnel (2 per region) across Ashanti, Bono, Bono East, Ahafo, and Western regions.
  • Assess mentor profiles from YIC 2024 and evaluate their technical competencies.
  • Analyse the technical needs of the 2025 innovators.
  • Collaborate with local partners to source new mentors where technical gaps are identified.

Deliverables Include:

  • Regional assessment reports
  • Mentor gap analysis
  • Onboarding of new technical mentors
  • Final summary report with mentor-mentee pairings

Deadline: 5th January 2025
