Kumasi Tech Community Meetup 3rd June 2017 – Machine Learning.  The Birth of Artificial Intelligence, Application, Migration and Risks

The tech community on 3rd June 2017 had their monthly meetup discussing machine learning, its birth, application, migration and risk.   Mr Mohammed Appiah led the discussion starting with a brief introduction of artificial intelligence. He explained how industry players (large and small) are now applying machine learning in their industries and the threat Machine Learning poses to traditional ways of doing business, which relies most on human resources.

There was a discussion on the use of algorithms, setbacks of the models, and its attack by hackers or intruders. Also, risk management analysis on how we can make this technology beneficiary through; Ethical hacking, cleaning out training data, and security policies were discussed.
